• High Tech Fair at Del Mair Fairgrounds: This exciting educational event will be at the Del Mar Fairgrounds in February. For more info: htttp://www.sdsa.org    The San Diego County Educational Technology Fair is sponsored by the San Diego Science Alliance, the San Diego County Office of Education, and San Diego City Schools with the support of Congressman Randy "Duke" Cunningham, Congresswoman Susan Davis, Congressman Bob Filner, Congressman Duncan Hunter and Congressman Darrel Issa.  The primary goal of the Tech Fair is to get high school students excited about math and science and encourage them in that direction as they pursue their education goals beyond high school.

• OCEAN Bowl...Marine Biology and Ocean Science Academic Competitions...We would need a parent coach. Deadline to register : November 30th, 2003

March of Dimes Symposium on Genetic Defects

• $8.00 fee for lunch (this is a charity after all)

SCHOLARSHIPS:

Students who've created a "significant piece of work" in science, technology, mathematics, literature, philosophy, and/or music are eligible to apply for the Davidson Fellows Award; a $10,000 or $50,000 scholarship.
